Apple is constantly expanding its Apple Intelligence capabilities, making AI-powered features more available to people globally.
During Apple's Q4 2024 earnings call, CEO Tim Cook stated that Apple Intelligence will support eight more languages beginning in April.
The update will introduce French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, and simplified Chinese support.

Apple intelligence is available only in English within selected regions, including the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and South Africa.
The future version will include English support for consumers in India and Singapore. This expansion is expected to coincide with the release of iOS 18.4.
Apple Intelligence, introduced in the second half of 2024, has been released gradually, with some restrictions in European markets according to the EU's Digital Market Act (DMA). However, Apple has suggested that major AI features will become available to iPhone and iPad users in the EU starting in April.
Cook emphasizes the importance of Apple Intelligence, stating that its features quickly become vital for consumers. He praised the email summarization tool, which he relies on to manage his extensive daily correspondence.

While Apple Intelligence has been gradually included in iOS 18.1, its limited language support has restricted its adoption globally.
The upcoming expansion marks a critical step towards making Apple's AI-powered capabilities widely available, strengthening its competitive edge in the global AI landscape.
