Deadzone: Rogue has had a hugely successful early access launch on Steam, but it’s now launched with all new enemies and stages for players to enjoy.
Not only that but the game is also arriving on Playstation 5 and Xbox Series later this year, with a demo available for you to try right now.
But what’s the game actually about? Well, read on.
ISS-X Tricky
Set on the spacecraft ISS-X, you wake up but there’s a problem. Well actually there are multiple problems.
One is that you have no memory of who you are and what you’re doing out in space.
The second even bigger issue is that a whole stack of rogue machines are heading your way, and they’re not going to help you with your memory recall issues. Unless a bullet aimed towards your head is the solution. And let’s face it, it isn’t.
That’s the plot then, and upon it hangs some of the most frenetic and enjoyable FPS combat we’ve encountered all year.
Action packed

The gameplay set up is your typical roguelite, where you die and come back stronger - but the combat is the real draw here.
There’s around 30 weapons to arm yourself with, and the chance to improve this arsenal as you progress. Every gun has a different use and we recommend trying them all to make sure you find the one that’s right for you.
Not that you’ll be able to stick to just one though, as the huge variety of rogue machines you’ll face require quick shooting and even quicker weapon swapping. It’s fast, frantic, and always fun.
Modes Aplenty

The game was already well served in the content department considering its low price, but this full launch version adds a whole new Zone to the existing two - completing the main story. This means 20 new enemies, new abilities, and two new unique mini-bosses.
This comes alongside a set of difficulty options and the chance to play the adventure solo or with up to two friends.
There’s a demo of Deadzone: Rogue available on Xbox Series and PS5 now, and the full version can be purchased on PC via Steam right now - with a 20% discount, even on the Deluxe edition which adds even more DLC content.
