Samsung initially launched the One UI 7 update for the Galaxy S24 series in early April. However, the rollout was unexpectedly paused for unknown reasons, with the business noting simply the need to "ensure the best possible experience." Samsung has continued distributing a new build that not only fixes bugs but also adds a few missing features from the previous version, including an updated charging animation and music player support in the Now Bar.

For Galaxy S24 FE users, this update is a significant step forward. One UI 7.0 introduces a redesigned user interface, smoother animations, and updated icons. Users will also experience modifications to the notification panel and improvements in overall performance. These upgrades aim to offer a more polished and responsive user experience.

The update is currently available in Korea, but it is expected to be rolled out in other regions in the coming days. Like other major software updates, it may take some time to reach all devices worldwide.

Samsung appears to be dedicated to avoiding similar delays with the next One UI 8.0 update, which is based on Android 16. According to the leaks, its development is already complete, and the company will be able to produce that version on schedule.

For now, Galaxy S24 FE users can enjoy the long-awaited features and improvements promised by One UI 7.0. If you haven't received the option to update yet, keep an eye on your device, as it will arrive soon.
