The update, first spotted in South Korea, comes with firmware version S721NKSU2BYD9 and a sizable 5.25GB download, indicating a complete system software refresh.
Samsung initially launched the One UI 7 update for the Galaxy S24 series in early April. However, the rollout was unexpectedly paused for unknown reasons, with the business noting simply the need to "ensure the best possible experience." Samsung has continued distributing a new build that not only fixes bugs but also adds a few missing features from the previous version, including an updated charging animation and music player support in the Now Bar.
For Galaxy S24 FE users, this update is a significant step forward. One UI 7.0 introduces a redesigned user interface, smoother animations, and updated icons.
