How to Fix Stuck Pixels

Before starting to troubleshoot, start by checking if your pixels are really dead or if they are just stuck. Stuck pixel(s) can be detected using dead pixel detection and repair software (JScreenFix). If the pixel starts working again and responds to color flashes, it's likely fixed.

If the dead pixel detection and repair software wasn't able to fix dead pixels, try these methods:

Restart Your Device

Firstly, reboot your device. Sometimes pixels can die or get stuck due to a buggy app. Restart your device, as it can sometimes help fix the issue.

Update Your Phone's Software

There's a possibility that the dead pixel could occur due to an outdated software version installed on your device. Check your device for software updates, and if available, update to the latest version and see if the dead pixel is still there.

Use a Screen Protector

If the dead pixel is getting bigger and troubling the functionality of your device, try using a screen protector. Using a screen protector could diffuse the light in the affected area and possibly make your device temporarily usable for some time.

Consider a Display Change

If none of these workarounds were able to help you fix the dead pixel, your device's display may be the reason. If that's the case, take your device to any authorized repair person and consider getting your display changed.
