How to turn off the always-on display?
The always-on display on iOS automatically turns off after a certain time to conserve battery. However, if you feel that this feature isn't for you and you don't find it helpful, you can always turn off Always On Display permanently.
To do so, open Settings > Display & Brightness, scroll to the bottom, and tap Always On Display. Here, turn the toggle off next to Always On Display.
