Ian "iDubbbz" Carter and Anisa Jomha have officially stepped down from Creator Clash 3, giving up their public role and ownership of the event.

Their departure comes after weeks of online dispute and controversy, including accusations and harsh commentary by fellow content creator Ethan Klein.

Despite the turbulence, Creator Clash 3 is still scheduled for June 28. The event is now completely overseen by the business partners that previously managed it.

IDubbbz and Anisa co-founded Creator Clash 3, a unique charity boxing event designed to bring content creators together for a good cause. In the first year, the event raised $1.3 million for charity, and in the second year, despite financial losses, it raised $175,000. However, controversy overshadowed the third iteration.

Ethan Klein has launched a series of public attacks on iDubbbz and Anisa, comparing the event to a "crypto rug pull" and drawing parallels with notable internet flops like Tanacon. He also resurfaced sensitive issues, including a CPS (Child Protective Services) call, and accused the pair of encouraging harassment, all while criticizing iDubbbz's health and personal decisions.

In a video titled Content Cop - Ethan Klein, iDubbbz addressed the ongoing crisis, outlining the emotional toll and reputation damage caused by Ethan's attacks. He stated that while he initially refrained from public response out of concern, the constant abuse forced his hand. iDubbbz emphasized that managing a charity event while indulging in public online feuds wasn't acceptable.

An official statement followed, announcing that Anisa would step away to allow Creator Clash to focus on its basic mission of community, discipline, and philanthropy. The statement also accepted the departure of fighters Lena Ayad and Harley Morenstein, citing the current environment as a contributing factor.

The decision to stand down has ripples throughout the online creator space. While fans have expressed unhappiness with the drama, many support the fighters still training and the causes they aim to help.

The Creator Clash team emphasized their commitment to making the event about the participants and the positive change it strives to generate. Despite losing several vital figures, the event continues with hopes that the spotlight will remain on its charitable goals instead of internet drama.
