Redesigned camera module

The iPhone 17 Pro is expected to include a rectangular back camera bump with rounded sides that will be a departure from the small square module. Despite the update, Apple may keep its triangular lens layout.

Aluminum and glass build

Unlike the titanium frame used on the iPhone 15 and 16 Pro, Apple may switch to a part-aluminum, part-glass design for a lighter, more durable finish while maintaining a premium appearance.

Improved front camera

The front-facing camera could be significantly upgraded to 24MP, doubling the resolution of the iPhone 16 series and offering sharper selfies and video chats.

48MP telephoto camera

A substantial update to the rear camera is expected, with a 48MP telephoto lens replacing the 12MP lens, allowing for crisper, more detailed zoom shots.

Dual video recording

Users could be able to record using both front and rear cameras at the same time, opening up creative options for vloggers and content creators.

A19 Pro chip

Under the hood, the iPhone 17 Pro is expected to include Apple's next-generation A19 Pro chip, which is built on TSMC's advanced 3nm technology and processes improved performance and efficiency.

Wi-Fi 7 Support

With support for Wi-Fi 7, connectivity could improve, resulting in faster and more stable internet performance.

Bigger battery and faster charging

A larger battery can be expected, particularly in the Pro Max variant, as well as higher charging speeds—up to 35W wired and enhanced wireless charging.

Scratch-resistant display

The display may contain a new anti-reflective coating to increase scratch resistance and visibility in harsh light.

With these advancements, the iPhone 17 Pro appears to be Apple's most powerful and flexible phone yet.
