Nobody is surprised that Hunters continue to be the top single class in the game when it comes to solo play. Hunters don't require friends when playing alone because they can tame pets to accompany them all game long. The Dragon Isles are teeming with helpful pets that can tank and battle for you; when combined with Hunter's unrivaled single-target damage, they can easily defeat elite enemies.
A Beast Mastery Hunter fully exploits their pets, endowing them with skills such as Kill Command and Bloodshed. Beast Mastery Hunters can tag multiple mobs using their intrinsic mobility to shoot on the move because their pets are more than capable of handling themselves. In a tight location, Hunters can use Disengage to leap backward, Aspect of the Cheetah to run, or a Freezing Trap to immobilize foes. When everything else fails, Hunters can use Feign Death to make all enemies stop focusing on Hunter and switch to his pet or another target.
